FAQs
Where will the shoot take place?
There a wide variety of locations available in and around the Tweed Valley, all have their own special magic and quality that will bring something to your final images. We will chat between us and work out where is best to suit your dog and you. I’m happy to work with any location you have in mind too.
Does my dog need to be well trained?
No. However the better trained your dog is the wider variety of photos we will get and the quicker we will be able to get them. A basic sit and you being able to take a few steps (that’s all) away from them will be enough to get killer shots. They can remain on lead and photoshop can do the rest.
How long will it take?
With some dogs I can shoot an amazing army of photos in 30 mins and know I’ve got the gold I’m looking for. With some dogs this can take a bit longer. Your shoot fee will cover up to 2 hours of my time which is usually more than enough.
What about the weather?
It’s Scotland, sometimes (ok quite often) the weather isn’t as expected and we have to postpone. There is no charge for weather related date changes. We will just keep rearranging until we don’t get wet.
Can I bring multiple dogs?
Yes of course. All I ask is that you also bring enough pairs of hands to handle them. Unless they are super calm and well trained we will probably need 1 person per dog. If you have a multi dog household and want to chat this over pre booking that’s cool.
Enquire about your shoot.
